Here's Rowdy doing his impersonation of Mr. Conehead; if you aren't familiar with Saturday Night Live (from the 70's), then Mr. Conehead won't mean anything! UPDATE: February 13, 2007 Rowdy's cone has been removed! We've had to take him back to the vet several times to work on his wound, but he is healing. We still have to keep a loose bandage on his boo-boo, but it is slowly closing up.
Last month Anne discovered that Rowdy had a lemon-sized growth on one of his back legs, hidden beneath all of that long hair. The vet determined that it was a cancerous growth that needed to be removed right away. On January 2nd Rowdy went in for surgery. He's recovering nicely, although his current apparel leaves much to be desired. Hopefully his incision will be healed well enough that the cone can be removed soon.
