By the way - most of my blog entries have titles with hidden meanings. In this case, the reference to "Jonesy" is from the original movie to feature the song, "White Christmas". That movie was "Holiday Inn", which introduced many well known holiday favorites including "Easter Bonnet", "Happy Holidays", and, of course, "White Christmas". "Mr. Jones", or "Jonesy", was the name of the Thanksgiving turkey toward the end of the film - which Bing just couldn't bring himself to eat... until Mamie tells Bing to stop feelin' sorry for hisself and tell that girl what she needs to hear! This just happens to be my favorite film of all time...

Jonesy - Star of Two Films...
David, I clicked on the picture and started to immediately look for a cat. The feline actor in the movie "Alien" was named "Jonesy", and nothing says HAPPY HOLIDAYS like slime-dripping aliens. So naturally that was my first guess.
Was this some kind of film/cat association Rorschach test? Is this going into my permanent record? Can I change my answer? :)
Happy Thanksgiving to you and the family. I am very thankful for having such a fine friend. Good luck with the briny Jonesy project!
"Jonsey"
Hey Dave,
I didn't catch on to the part about "Jonsey". I just figured it was in the orange thing in the middle of the picture, like maybe you were deep frying it.
Yup - he was in the bucket
Yup - he was in the bucket soaking in a brine solution.
